Le bitcontrol MPEG-2/4, H.263 vidéo et décodeur audio est adapté pour Windows Media Player, bitcontrol Quad enregistreur et d'autres acteurs pour MS Windows 98 / ME / 2K / XP / Vista 32/64. Les deux parties de décodage, vidéo et audio, sont en cours d'exécution comme intégré dans DirectShow Filter sous MS Windows. Le décodeur prend en charge DirectX Video Acceleration, DXVA 1.0 et DXVA 2.0 pour Vista 32/64. Par conséquent, la TVHD est jouable sur processeurs Celeron
 Le bitcontrol MPEG-2/4 décodeur est très robuste contre les pannes d'entrée, comme les abandons du flux d'entrée, erreurs sur les bits et une autre défaillance de signal. Ainsi, le décodeur est très approprié pour la DVB-T, DVB-S applications et streaming sur Internet.
