Automatically create smaller icons
Automatically scale the image dropped on the image area which is useful for populating the smaller size icon images. This preference allows you to speed up the creation of the icon.
Skip “Auto Scale” warning dialog
When you select the “Auto Scale” menu item, a dialog is presented that asks if you want to auto scale the icon. This preference allows you to skip that dialog in order to speed up the operation.
Converter
Default converter algorithm for new windows. The algorithms you can choose from are Flat, Edge Blend or Grayscale Edge blend.
Fill interior pixels
Default fill value for new windows. When Mask-R-Aid creates a mask, white pixels in the image become transparent in the mask. There may be white pixels within the interior of the icon that you don't want to be transparent. Checking this option fills in the interior white pixels in the mask with black pixels.
Edge depth
Default edge depth value for new windows. The exterior edge of the icon is where the blending between the icon and the background image occurs. By default this is set to 1 pixel wide. You can make this blending area up to 4 pixels wide. In other words, you can widen the border of your icon where blending will occur.
Edge Transparency
Default transparency setting for new windows. 50% is the default. You can change the how much the background image bleeds through the border of your of your icon.
Import

When you drag and drop an image into an icon slot, Mask-R-Aid asks you if you want to scale the image. You can make Mask-R-Aid skip the dialog and automatically scale and center the image as desired.
